Driving in Europe? Only an American could say that, hahaha! You all know the distances in Europe ... Where are you?
I suggest that if a tour in Central Europe, at least to visit in Prague (EAAP), Vienna (Austria), Budapest (Hungary), Venice (Italy), Bern (Switzerland), Paris (France) and if you have time Amsterdam (Netherlands) in a day and then go quietly in the United Kingdom!
Enjoy!

Dear Inge, Netherlands

Get a copy of "Driving in Europe 101" by Curley Bowman. Do you have suggestions about the laws and customs of the market in 28 countries in Western Europe, Translations traffic signs, how to plan your trip and many other bodies. This is an excellent guide in your glove compartment to keep when you return. It is available from Amazon.com

Ferry from Calais to the French immersion in the southern Pyrenees, the Basque Country and northern Spain, securing the Côte d'Azur and Monaco. Northern Italy and from there along the Adriatic coast, a ferry to Croatia and security in the Adriatic Sea. Then, via Slovenia and Austria, Bavaria, the pace back to the highway through Holland and then by ferry.
